Roper Funeral Home has been serving the families of Pickens County and the surrounding area since 2001.  We have always strived to provide families with the highest level of service with dignity and respect.  Roper Funeral Home offers complete funeral service including traditional burial, traditional cremation, transfer of remains in and out of the United States as well as direct disposition.  We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  We understand the importance of being there when you need us most.

Our Services Include:

• Transfer of your loved one to funeral home by qualified personnel, in a professional vehicle designed for such
• Care and custody of your loved one, including embalming by a licensee of the State of Georgia
• On-site cremation services
• Cosmetic application, restoration, hair­styling and dressing
• Procuring and filing legal documents
• Coordinating arrangements with Clergy, cemetery, musicians, and others that may be involved
• Contact pallbearers upon family request
• Preparation and placement of funeral notices
• Receiving and assisting visitors
• Receiving, arranging and transporting flowers
• Planning, coordination and direction of the funeral service
• Preparing gravesite for the committal service
• Notifying fraternal and other organiza­tions
• Follow up with forms processing and assistance after the funeral
