Obituary for Bessie Mae "Sue" Fouts

Bessie Mae “Sue” Fouts, age 77 of Jasper, passed away Monday, January 2, 2016 at her home. She was born June 7, 1939 to W. V. and Bessie Mae Ridley in Chatsworth, Georgia.

Sue is survived by her husband, Jimey L. Fouts of Tate; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Laura Fouts of Ellijay; daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Reuel Barton of Summerville; grandchildren, Eden Fouts, Alex Fouts, Jennifer Frady, Andrew Padgett, Jamie Padgett; brothers, Harlan Ridley, W. V. Ridley, Randy Ridley; and three great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Fields officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

Visitation will be at Roper Funeral Home Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia.
