Garth W. Foster – Obituary

Garth W. Foster, 90, passed away peacefully at home in Jasper, Ga. October 17, 2017. He was born in Haddon Heights, N.J. to Charles and Mildred Foster.
Garth retired after a 43-year career at Western Electric/AT&T/ as an engineer associate which brought him from New Jersey to the Southeast where he lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia. For his distinctive service, he was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation, United Nations Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Navy Occupation Medal.
