ROY WALLACE JOHNSON

August 16, 1927 – February 13, 2017



Mr. Roy Wallace Johnson, age 89 of Jasper, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Johnson of Jasper; children, Randall Wallace Johnson and wife, Kimberly, of Jasper, Anthony Brown Johnson and wife, Margaret, of Ball Ground, Gina Leigh Seidel of Canton, Daniel Roy Johnson and wife, Delane, of Mobile, Alabama; brothers, Lloyd H. Johnson of Fayetteville, Robert Earl Johnson of Adairsville, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his brother, James D. Johnson.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2017, in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Davis officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at Roper Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Reinhardt University or to your favorite charity in honor of Mr. Johnson.
