Life Legacy
Mr. Gerald Timothy "Tim" Underwood, age 54, of Ellijay, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at his sons residence following a sudden illness.
Born December 28, 1955 in Avon Park, Florida, Mr. Underwood was a computer programmer for the State of Florida. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Thelma Spires Underwood. Mr. Underwood was a member of the Old Faith Baptist Church and the American Legion Post #82 in Ellijay, Georgia. Mr. Underwood was also a United States Navy Veteran having served 20 years.
Survivors include: HIS WIFE, Kathie Underwood, of Ellijay, Ga.; HIS SONS, Joshua Underwood, of Ball Ground, Ga. and Zachary Underwood, of Akins, SC.; HIS FATHER, G.T. Underwood, of Ellijay, Ga.; HIS BROTHER, Tony Underwood, of Ellijay, Ga.; and HIS SISTER, Terri Anderson of Port Charlotte, Fla.; Nieces, Nephews and Other Relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. At his request, Mr. Underwood will be cremated and no service will be held.
Flowers are to be omitted.
