Life Legacy
Mr. Roy Lee Boling, age 63, of Jasper, Georgia died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at his residence following a sudden illness.
Born May 17, 1947 in Jasper, Georgia, he was the son of the late Charlie Clayton and Pauline Raynes Boling. Roy last worked at Royston in Jasper, Georgia.
Survivors include, HIS WIFE, Sue Boling of Jasper, Ga.; CHILDREN, Stacey Nichols (James) of Jasper, Ga.; and Tiffany Payne (Jamie) of Jasper, Ga; BROTHER, James Boling of Jasper, Ga.; SISTERS, Betty Henderson and Judy Jarrett, both of Jasper, Ga.; GRANDCHILDREN, Brittney Nichols, Haley Nichols, Slate Nichols, Isaiah Payne, Lexi Payne, and Breanna Payne, all of Jasper, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Larry Johnson and Rev. Gene Childers will officiate with the interment to follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Tate, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, all day Thursday, and until the funeral hour Friday.
