William H. Von Windeguth

November 12, 1937 - March 5, 2012

Mr. William H. Von Windeguth, age 74 of Jasper died March 5, 2012 at home surrounded by family. He was born November 12, 1937 in Chicago, Il, the son of the late Clover and William T. VonWindeguth. He is survived by his wife, Angelina B. (Ann) Von Windeguth married May 23, 1958.


He served in the Air National Guard then later turned to study and pursue his land surveying career. In 1995 he and his wife bought and ran an early education center (Kids Ahead, Inc.) which Ann continues to run.



William had two daughters the late Cheryl Von Windeguth and Debbie Roxroat (Eddie) who survives him. He has three surviving grandchildren, Billy Burden, Steven Burden, and April McDermott. He also has two great grandchildren, Tyler and Kameron.



Visitation will be Thursday from 5-9 PM at Roper Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be 5:00 PM Friday from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home.



The family will accept flowers or those who desire may make contributions to the American Cancer Society C/O Joan Sendling Rt. 1 Box 299-8 Mt. Claire, WV. 26408.



Arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory.
