Mr. Clyde Mathis age 74 of Jasper.
The family will be receiving friends at Rope Funeral Home after 4 PM Monday, all day Tuesday, and Wednesday until the funeral hour.
Funeral Service will be 2 PM Wednesday at the Nelson Baptist Church with Rev. Leroy Kelly and Rev. John Padgett officiating. The interment will follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park with Pickens Chapter # 47 DAV in charge of graveside rites.
He is survived by his Wife, Becky Mathis, Jasper, Sons, & Daughter-in-law, Kelly Adam Mathis, Jasper, Alan & Melody Day, Jasper, and Lane & Aggee Landon, Two Rivers, Wisconsin, Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Gene Mathis, R L & Betty Mathis, Fairmount, Terry & Linda Mathis, Adairsville, Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Sandra & Gary Mosely, Jasper, Linda & Dave Forester, Calhoun, 12 Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Grandchilden also survive.
