Life Legacy
Mr. Terry Herbert Hodgens, age 50, of Nelson, Georgia, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born April 11, 1962 in Pickens County, Mr. Hodgens worked at Ace Hardware in Jasper, Georgia and also in security for the Big Canoe Community.
Survivors include his Father, Herbert “Cub” Hodgens, of Nelson, Ga.; Sister, Sherry Hodgens, of Nelson, Ga.; and Aunts and Uncles, Carol Rathbun, of Franklin, NC., Michael and Wynett Hodgens, of Canton, Ga., Janie and Joe Kirk, of Talking Rock, Ga., Sidney Parker, of Jasper, Ga., Buena Darnell, of Nelson, Ga., and Doug Barrett, of Ball Ground, Ga. Mr. Hodgens was preceded in death by his Mother, Bertha Sue Parker Hodgens.
At his request, Mr. Hodgens was cremated.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012 from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home.
