Life Legacy
Mrs. Donna Leanne Wilford, age 66, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away May 17, 2012 at her residence in Bent Tree following a period of declining health.
Born on January 8, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Layman Barto Wingard and Laneva Reese Wingard, Mrs. Wilford worked for Hewlett-Packard as an administrative assistant. She was also a member of Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Jasper.
She was survived by her Husband, Wayne Wilford, of Jasper, Georgia, Son, Michael Wilford, of Culver City, California, Daughter and Son-In-Law, Judy and Tony Knox, of Braselton, Georgia, Granddaughters, Maggie Knox, Luna Wilford, Erin Wilford, and Rachel Wilford, Grandson and Granddaughter-In-Law, John and Cindy Wilford, and Nephew, Cory Wingard of Sparta, Georgia. Several Cousins also survive.
At her request, Mrs. Wilford was cremated. There are no services scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 300 West Emery Street, Dalton, Georgia 30720.
Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
