Alton is survived by his son and daughter in law, Alton Jr. and Donna Beck of Jasper; son, Bruce A. Beck of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Shannon Dailey of Ball Ground; sister, Janice Beck of Guntersville Alabama; grandchildren, Andy Beck, Heather Spiva, Chris Beck, Brandon Beck, Reese and Cason Dailey, Joshua Beck and great-grandchildren, Logan Blackwell, Landon Blackwell, Elijah Beck, Ryley Beck, Dawson Beck and Slade Beck. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Beck; parents Thomas and Esther Beck; three brothers and two sisters. Pallbearers include Andy Beck, Josh Beck, Brandon Beck, Shannon Dailey, Jason Spiva and Landon Beck. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Fox officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Monday, January 3, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
