She was born August 1, 1943 to Lester and Mary Loss Sr. in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. Angie married Larry Cantrell and moved to Pickens County to become a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a teacher and inspiration to many during her 39 years of teaching. Angie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Larry Cantrell of Jasper; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri Cantrell and Dale Davenport of Canton, Joan and Scott Wilkins of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Aspen Danielle Edwards, Bryce James Wilkins; and great-granddaughter, Aurora Lee Edwards. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Mary Loss Sr. and brothers, Lester Henry Loss Jr., and Charles Orville Loss. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2024 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral with Reverend Cody Ingram officiating. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Roper Funeral Home. The family will accept flowers.
