She was born April 20, 1932 to McKinley and Onna Wilkins Simmons in Jasper, Georgia. Faye is survived by her husband of 61 years, Billy E. Collins of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Kathy Cagle of Jasper; sister, Betty Quinton of Jasper; sister-in-law, Ann Collins of Jasper; grandsons, Joey and Emily Cagle, Matt and Katie Cagle; great-grandchildren, Gunnar Cagle, Rhett Cagle, Dylan Dockery, Addicyn Dockery, and Lacy Dockery. Several other family members also survive. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in the Chapel o f Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Jesse Posey and Kevin Roper officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made in her honor to any charity of your choice. The family would prefer food not be brought to the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
