Ms. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Julia Cordell; husband, J.C. Henderson; children, Brenda Henderson, Jerry "Lanny" Henderson, Sharon Henderson; son-in-law, Rev. Charles Gay; grandchildren, Stacy Gunn, Cassandra Henderson, Bryan Hamby; granddaughter-in-law, JoAnn Henderson; siblings, Ruth Patterson, Gay Patterson, Onie Lee Thacker, Junior Cordell, and Dean Cordell. She is survived by her children, Ruth Ann Gay of Talking Rock, Sandra Dunn of Talking Rock, Deborah Collis (Donnie) of Talking Rock, Terry Henderson of Jasper, and Lynn Bazzell (Bryan) of Ball Ground. Over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at Refuge Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Cowart, Rev. Tyson Smith, and Rev. Thomas Shipman officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, July 24th, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
