She was born September 16, 1933 in Woodstock, Georgia to James Herman Reece and Alice Mae Bryant Reece. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Lee Ralph Evans of Jasper; daughter, Gloria Jean Beasley of Jasper; daughter, Terry Lynn Cantrell of New Market, Tennessee; sons, and daughters-in-law, Danny Ray and Kimberly Burnett of Dahlonega, James Ralph Evans and Leanne of Calhoun. Seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys Sawyer and brother, Hugh Lee Reece. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Sunday, October, 4, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, October, 5, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until just prior to the funeral service. The family will accept flowers. Funeral Services will be held Monday October, 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Ware and Reverend Stephen Sheffield officiating. The interment will follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park at 280 Camp Road, Jasper, GA 30143. Serving as pallbearers will be Conrad Brooks, Chas Brooks, Chris Brooks, Eli Russell, Seth Evans and Ryan Prince. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
