Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Debbie Silvers of Jasper; granddaughter, Sarah and Brady West of Ellijay; great-grandchildren, Halle Mae West and Ty West. Nieces and nephews also survive. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar "Doc" Silvers; daughter, Birma Silvers; son, Patrick Silvers and daughter, Wanda Silvers. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Long and Rev. Wallace Parks officiating. The interment will follow in the Ball Creek Baptist Church Cemetery: 11340 Highway 136 West; Talking Rock, GA 30175. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
