She was born April 13, 1954 to Robert Owen and Annie Louise Long in Athens, Georgia. Beverly is survived by her sons, Matt Young of Jasper, Austin Young of Jasper; special adopted daughter, Mandy Michelle Gentle of Dallas; brother, Robert Owen Long Jr. and sister, Robin Louise Suter. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Meadows officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
