She was born September 13, 1937 to John W. and Jewel Ballew in Ludville, Georgia. Bobbie is survived by her husband, Bob Gaddis of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Donna Gaddis of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Tracy Allday of Jasper; grandchildren, Amanda Milam (Jim), Nathan Gaddis of Jasper, Weston Gaddis of Jasper, Chase Allday of Jasper, Landon and Kelsi VanSant of Talking Rock; great-grandchildren, Troy Gaddis of Jasper, Sawyer Gaddis of Tate, Olivia Gaddis of Tate, Wyatt Allday of Jasper; great-great-grandchild, Maybree VanSant of Talking Rock; and special cousin and best friend, Rita Poole of Jasper. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Momma John Ballew; brother, Bill Ballew and Geri; and sister, Sandra Middleton and Jim. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2024 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
