She was born June 2, 1949 to Clarence and Margaret Wilder. Brenda was a devoted mother and grandmother who worked for the postal service for 17 years. Brenda is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jody and Scarlett Higgins of Canton, Jeff Higgins and Brandy Watson of Jasper; grandchildren, Tristan Higgins, Cole Hall, Zaylee Higgins, Skylar Higgins, Dallas Jarrett; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Debbie Wilder of Newnan, Tommy and Diane Wilder of Jacksonville, Florida; and sister, Judy Spearman of Roberta. Nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by husband, Jerry Franklin Higgins; daughter, Lisa Higgins Morgan; parents, Clarence and Margaret Wilder; brother, Randy Wilder; and sister, Linda Rigdon. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
