Grizzle, age 78, of Talking Rock, Georgia passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at Grandview Health Center in Jasper. Carl is survived by his wife, Shirley Grizzle of Talking Rock; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and John Humphries of Cumming, Carol and Wayne Ball of Ball Ground, Rita Lyon and Jason Bivens of Jasper; grandchildren, Ginny and Josh Thomas, Travis Ball, Brooklin and Skylar Scales, Marla and Bart Pierce,Tanya and John Rogers; great-grandchildren, Bryce and Easton Thomas, JB and Caroline Pierce, Evelyn, Alice, Will, and Freddie Rogers. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home, Monday, April 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jimmy Rampley, Reverend Wesley Hutchins and Reverend Grant Wade officiating. Interment will follow in the Price Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to Price Creek Baptist Church or the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
