He was born February 3, 1954 to John Calvin and Annie Ovell Neal in Canton, Georgia. Charles is survived by his wife, Debbie Neal of Jasper; daughters and son-in-law, Rosie Neal of Jasper, Sharon Neal of Jasper, Nickie Williams and Luis Gonzalez of Rex, Tammy Williams of Jonesboro; sons, Charles Neal of Jasper, Michael Neal of Jasper; daughters-in-law, Mary Wilkins of Jasper, Beth Baughman of Jasper; sister, Diane Donaldson of Forrest Park; brother, Stanley Neal of Dexter; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Dwayne Roland of Dexter; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Neal. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Donald Teague and Reverend Alan Day officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pickens Animal Shelter.
