She was born February 3, 1971 in Canton, Georgia. Christi is survived by her husband, Lamar Buchanan of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Felicia Dickerson of Bremen; daughter, Kristina Walker of Jasper; step-sons and daughter-in-law, Greg and Shawna Buchanan of Jasper, Jonathon Buchanan of Jasper; step-daughter, Melissa Buchanan of Jasper; mother, Elouise and Howard Gilbert of Jasper; sisters and brothers-in-law, Melissa and Dave Gray, Julia Roland and Jeff Padgett, Tabitha and Kyle Thompson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Steve Walker; and 16 grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by grandson, Joesyph Dickerson and father, Jimmy Dickerson. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Raymond Mooney officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery at 36 Camp Dobbs Road; Jasper, GA 30143. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
