Clarice Mae Stewart, age 97, of Jasper, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 at The Retreat at Jasper. She was born in Langdale, Alabama. Mrs. Stewart is survived by her three children and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis E. Stewart. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 35 years. She enjoyed painting, artwork, and gardening during her retirement years. She was Past President of the Sharptop Arts Association in Jasper and was instrumental in organizing art shows for members and for school children. Mrs. Stewart's remains will be placed at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia alongside her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pickens CARES or the First Baptist Church of Jasper. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
