Dana Louise Levy Cline, age 89, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the quiet morning of October 28, 2026, surrounded by the familiar comfort of the Jasper, Georgia home she cherished for 50 years.

Born on April 6, 1937, in Nolanville, Texas, Dana was the beloved fifth of six children born to John and Dalah Levy. Her youthful spirit and vibrant energy shone brightly during her days at Killeen High School, where she proudly cheered on her teams as a Killeen Kangaroo cheerleader. As the last surviving sibling of her family, a group she held so tightly in her heart, she has now joyfully reunited with them in eternity.

After high school, Dana first shared her creative spirit with the world as a hair stylist. But her true life's masterpiece began on April 20, 1957, when she married the absolute love of her life, John William Cline. For nearly 69 yeas, their marriage was a true testament of enduring love, devotion, and partnership.

When they quickly welcomed children into their lives, Dana found her greatest calling. She poured every ounce of her boundless heart into being a devoted mother, anchoring her family through moves from Texas to Alabama in 1973, and finally settling in the mountains of Jasper, Georgia, in 1976.

Dana gave her heart and life to Jesus Christ on January 15, 2001. As a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, her gentle grace, kindness, and love for her church family left a permanent imprint on so many that she knew and loved.

Dana's life was defined by the deep, fierce love she held for her family. She was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and loyal friend whose home was always a sanctuary of warmth and comfort.

She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, John William (JW) Cline, who passed away earlier this year. Through our hearts ache with her absence, we take comfort in knowing they are together again.

Dana's incredible legacy of love lives on through her children: John Cline (Jill) of Danville, Virginia; Joni Dorsey (Van) of Jasper, Georgia; and Jason Cline (Olga) of Cumming, Georgia. She was the proudest grandmother to Jay Cline (Sarah) of Lynchburg, VA, Jennifer Dos (Jared) of Kernersville, NC, Natasha Cline of Knoxville, Tennessee, Natalie Mantione (Orion) of Denver, Colorado, and Bogdan Cline of Cumming, Georgia. Her light will continue to shine through her adored great-grandchildren: Dayla Cline, Jake Doss, Miriam Cline, Jennabeth Doss, and Grady Cline.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 3:00pm at Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, Georgia, with visitation beginning at 2:00pm.

"Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praised her." -Proverbs 31:28
