He was born August 10, 1939 to Edward Epstein and Ethel Wilson Epstein in New Foundland, Canada. David was a Sigma Chi at University of Western Ontario where he got his Doctor of Medicine and went on to serve as a physician in Wimby, Ontario for many years. He was deeply loved and respected by his patients, who valued his compassion, dedication, and care. David is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pamela Etchberger Epstein of Jasper; sister, Helen Ghent of Sudburry, Northern Ontario; son John Epstein of Oshawa, Ontario Canada; daughter Robin Epstein Kosteczko of Oshawa, Ontario Canada; and several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
