She was born January 6, 1952 to Harold and Edith Blackwell. Deborah is survived by her husband, Eddy Jones of Marble Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Sheryl Bell of Warm Springs; daughter, Tracy Hernendez of Hill City; daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Frank Lathery of Ellijay; daughter, Hope Hooks of Marble Hill; bonus daughter, Barbie Silvers; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 3 on the way. Also surviving are her siblings, Kevin Blackwell of Ellijay, Tammy Blackwell of Ellijay, Dawn Blackwell of Ellijay, and Trudy Totherow of Marble Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Edith Blackwell; son, David Fowler; brothers, J. H. Blackwell, Ronald Blackwell, Wayne Blackwell; sisters, Frances Smith, and Doris Kent. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 17, 2025 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Scotty Blackwell and Dustin Lathery officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
