She was born September 11, 1958 to Marvin and Ramona McCarty in Atlanta, Georgia. Debra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Dalton Dumestre of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Brittany Arrowood of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandchildren, Ashlee Burton, Skylar Madison, Hunter Madison, Stori Arrowood, Sebastian Arrowood; great-grandchildren, Alec, Georgia, Hayden, Allie-Mae, Elizabeth; and sister, Donna Garner of Savannah. Several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Lee; sister, Gail Bennett; and nephew, Jonathon Gross. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
