Stohr, age 89, of Bent Tree, Jasper, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Pruitt Health Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility in Jasper. Her husband, Phil, and all five children were with her at the time. Dolores was born in 1935 to Elsa and Fred Jaehne in New York City, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Fritz Jaehne. Dolores is survived by her husband, J. Philip Stohr of Bent Tree; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Harold Alderfer of Harleysville, Pennsylvania; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Garnette Stohr of Lithia, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Traci Stohr of Bon Aqua, Tennessee; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Bernard Westwood of Canton, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, William and Donna Stohr of Jasper, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren, Alison Stohr of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Brian Alderfer of Telford, Pennsylvania, Matt Stohr of New Milford, Connecticut, Mandy Renteria of Chula Vista, California, Jessica Stohr of Nashville, Tennessee, Reece Stohr of Riverview, Florida, Evan Stohr of Brandon, Florida, Tess Barrett of Henrico, Virginia, Joe Fulton of Apex, North Carolina, Evan Fulton of Decatur, Georgia, Chrissy Garrison of Woodstock, Georgia, Sarah Upton of Woodstock, Georgia, Lexie Nama of Canton, Georgia, Sam Stohr of Auburn, Alabama; thirteen great-children, Trevor Alderfer of Telford, PA, Owen Alderfer of Telford, PA, Luke Alderfer of Telford, PA, Peyton Alderfer of Telford, PA, Juliana Renteria of Chula Vista, CA, Charlotte Renteria of Chula Vista, CA, Emmett Stohr of Riverview, FL, Dylan Stohr of New Milford, CT, Bode Stohr of New Milford, CT, Zoe Fulton of Apex, NC, Lucy Fulton of Apex, NC, Emma Garrison of Woodstock, GA, Walker Garrison of Woodstock, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Terri Stohr of Loma Linda, Missouri. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A "Celebration of Life" Service will be held 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Roper Funeral Home. This will be followed by a reception for friends and family at The Old Mulehouse Restaurant in Jasper from approximately 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a future date at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
