Dottie was born in Hobart, Oklahoma on December 18, 1938 to John Ritter Jones and Thelma Louise Jones. She married Roy Howard Duncan on September 21, 1956. Dottie was a Christian and belonged to Assembly of God where she taught Sunday School. She worked for Target Corporation. Dottie is survived by brothers, Bobby R. Jones (Gail) of Newnan, David L. Jones of Talking Rock; sisters, E. Juanita Jones of Cumming, Nancy J. Voelker (Tom) of Cumming. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by parents, John R. and Thelma Miller Jones; husband, Roy H. Duncan; brothers, Tommy Jones, Billy Jones, Jerry Jones; and sister, Ruby Smith. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2025 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Rainwater officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
