She was born March 27, 1932 to Clifford and Jennie Mae Jordan in Tate, Georgia. Dottie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and Rudy Wehunt of Jasper, Patsy and Joey Padgett of Marietta; grandchildren, Justin and Megan Padgett, Josh and Carrie Padgett, Jenny and David Richards; great-grandchildren, Jace Padgett, Hannah Padgett; sister, Mary Helen Turner of Jasper; half-sisters, Barbara Lusk, Linda Floyd; half-brothers, Tommy Jordan, Jimmy Jordan. Several other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Cagle; parents, Clifford and Jennie Mae Jordan; and step-mother, Bessie Lois Jordan. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Reverend Grant Wade and Reverend Johnny McPherson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, June 3, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mrs. Cagle to the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. The family asks that you do not bring food to the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
