Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Doug Evans of Fairmount; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Allan Hill of Jasper; daughter, Sondra Fountain of Jasper; brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Inge Anderson of Jasper; brother and sister-in-law, James and Laneve Anderson of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and John Dorsey of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jimmy Blackwell of Jasper; grandchildren, Whitney and Cody Patterson, Kristen Johnson, Jordan Hill, Alexis and Drew Adams, Ashlie and Josh Lairsey; great-grandchildren, Will Patterson, Julia Patterson, Emma Johnson, Isabella Johnson, and Evan Elvey, Parker Lairsey, Easton Lairsey, Knox Lairsey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. Davis; mother, Stella O. Anderson; brothers, J. C. Anderson, Glenn Anderson and sister, Marjie Fowler. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Sharptop Baptist Church with Bill Lawrence and Don Cagle officiating. Interment will follow in the Sharptop Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to Sharptop Baptist Church in Dorothy's memory. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
