He was born February 12, 1953 to James and Reva Mae Hamrick in Fairmount, Georgia. Mr. Hamrick is survived by his wife, Selena Hamrick of Fairmount; son and daughter-in-law, Steven D. and Jessica Hamrick of Talking Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Kevin Hamrick of Ranger; brothers, Jerry Hamrick of Ranger, Glenn Hamrick of Ellijay, Billy Hamrick of Calhoun; sisters, Rachel Atkins of Cartersville, Jean Hight of Adairsville, Melissa Jones of Jasper; grandchildren, Jesilyn Hamrick of Talking Rock, Katilyn Hamrick of Talking Rock, Joseph Hamrick of Talking Rock, Timothy Hamrick of Talking Rock, Ashlynn Hamrick of Ranger; and three great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, James Hamrick and mother, Reva Mae Hamrick. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Harold Hightower officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m and Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
