She was preceded in death by her mother, Lavonia Stewart Pitts; husband, Hoyt "Pud" Chastain; and daughter, Cynthia Chastain. Suelane is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Keith and Robin Jackson Chastain, Jeff Chastain and Kris Chastain; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Buck Parker officiating. The interment will follow in the Hinton Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Monday, February 7, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
