She was born May 29, 1944 to Robert and Evelyn Turner in Cumming, Georgia. Fairy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Edwina and Lamar Smith of Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Tracey Frix of Ball Ground; daughter-in-law, Tracy Frix of Marble Hill; son, Anthony Poole; grandchildren, Randy Smith, Daniel Smith, Amber Frix, Josh Frix, Adrian Gilstrap, Jacob Frix, Kenneth Frix, Joecy Poole; brother, Nathan Turner; sisters, Ann Pratt and Delta Stone. Several other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Tony Frix; two brothers; and three sisters. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Chadwick and Reverend Gary Keown officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, November 29, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
