Gary Dale Silvers, age 62, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. He was born July 6, 1961 to Sherman and Ruth Silvers in Marble Hill, Georgia.

Gary is survived by his sons, Bryan Silvers and Teesha Morgan (fiancee) of Ellijay, Chris Silvers of Jasper; granddaughter, Adi Faith Silvers of Jasper; step-grandsons, Dakota of Ellijay, and Chad of Ellijay. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members also survive.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Silvers; brothers and sisters, Sue Silver, A.C. Silvers, Cecil Silvers, Luke Silvers, Johnny Silvers, Jimmy Silvers, and Martha Ann Silvers.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
