She was born January 22, 1933 to Willie and Lizzie Mae Washington in White, Georgia. Mrs. Washington is survived by her son, Willie Washington of Jasper; granddaughters, Tangelia Washington of Canton, Terica Washington of Canton; brother, Eddie Washington of Jasper; sister, Ida Mae Repress of Marietta; great-grandsons, Tray Thomas (Kendra) of Acworth, Devin Meridith (Keishawn) of Kennesaw; great-granddaughters, Makenzie Bailey of Canton, Maison Curry of Canton; great-great-grandson, Cario Thomas of Acworth; and special niece/daughter, Melody Holmes of Acworth. A host of other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lizzie Mae Washington; brothers, Hardy Washington, Charlie Washington; sisters, Mary Madison and Willie Mae Howell. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church with Reverend R. S. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Monday, December 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
