He was born July 25, 1961 to Francis Elbert and Arrie Pauline Arp in Tate, Georgia. Glenn is survived by his wife, Kim Arp of Jasper; children, Brittany (Kyle) Heck of Tallapoosa, Georgia, Graham (Julie) Arp of Chatsworth, Chad (Marcy) Ivy of Jasper; five grandchildren, Josiah Arp, Tobias Arp, Lydia Arp, Zoey Ivy, Aria Ivy; brothers and sisters, Virginia Arp of Jasper, Virgil Arp of Blue Ridge, Melvin Arp of Jasper, Margaret Arp of Jasper. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Elbert and Pauline Arp and brother, Marvin Arp. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2023 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Graham Arp officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, January 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The family asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.
