He was born June 15, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Herbert is survived by his wife, Karen Kreuzburg of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and David Key of Jasper; grandchildren, Alyssa Dorman of Jasper, Ashley Blackwell (Matt) of Jasper, Andrew Key (Melody) of Ellijay; great-grandchildren, Alice, Lincoln, Adalynn, Twin Keys to come; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Carey Lott of Canton; grandchildren, Emma Grace Lott, Jaden Lott, Mckinley Lott, Josiah Lott, and Naomi Lott. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister. Graveside Services will be held 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Georgia National Cemetery with Reverend William Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Monday, March 17, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
