He was born June 28, 1947 to Bascomb and Ruby Biddy in Ball Ground, Georgia. Herman is survived by his sister-in-law, primary caregiver and second mother, Kathleen Biddy of Ball Ground; caregiver and niece, Mary (Larry) Chastain of Ellijay; assistant caregiver and niece, Joyce (Micheal) Buchanan of Ball Ground. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bascomb and Ruby Biddy; brothers, Veston, Henry, Bill, David, Larry; sisters, Ruth Crisp, Jane Kilgore, Catherine Ingram, Laura Silver and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2023 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Ted Estes and Reverend Butch Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairvew Baptist Church - David Hollingshead; 1256 Talc Mine Road; Jasper, GA 30143.
