She is survived by her husband, Danny Godfrey of Jasper; daughter and son in law, Karla and Charlie Roper of Jasper; sister and brother in law, Carol and Doug Marshman of Dalton, mother in law, Jewell Godfrey of Jasper and grandchildren, Abbie Roper and Hailey Roper. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Roper Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Charlie Bogan and Pastor Shannon Kelly officiating. The interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 3:00 p.m until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
