She was born February 23, 1960 to Nolan and Ovia Martin in Tate, Georgia. Janet is survived by her husband, Bobby Haygood; son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Laura Haygood; sister and brother-in-law, Steve and Mavelane Anderson; sister, Madalane Martin; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Sharon Martin. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a great-great-niece also survive. She was preceded in death by parents, Nolan and Ovia Martin. Janet was an adopted mom, grandmother, and special friend to many. She was a spiritual adviser and comforter to all and Gods mighty servant. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2024 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Randy Blanton, Joe Wigington, and C. R. Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
