She was born December 17, 1933 to Herman and Grace Crowe Buchanan in Marble Hill, Georgia. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Revere Fowler, Jasper, Son and Daughter-in-law, Jay and Sandy Carver, Brother, Gene Buchanan, Marietta, grandchildren, Corey (Leann) Fowler, Acworth, Cade Fowler, Valdosta, Jenny (Britt) Rose, Canton, great-grandchildren, Tara Fowler, Mack Fowler, and Riley Williams, sister-in-love, Jewell Buchanan, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Weldon Carver, brother, Hallman Buchanan, sisters, Guanita Ray and Myrna Denson. Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 9th, 2022 at Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Day officiating. The interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home Sunday, January 9th, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marble Valley Friends, at P. O. Box 51 Tate, Georgia 30177 or a charity of your choice. For the protection of the family and friends, masks are encouraged to be worn during visitation and the funeral service.
