He was born May 18, 1980 to Willie Lee and Margie Mae Mathis in Jasper, Georgia. Jason is survived by his wife, Tammy Marie Glass of Jasper; son, Blake Lee Mathis of Jasper; parents, Willie and Margie Mathis of Ellijay; sister, Sabrina Moriarty of Jasper; brother and sister-in-law, Bradley and Shirley Mathis of Ball Ground; brother, Billy Jo Mathis of Jasper; grandmother, Juanita Ramey of Jasper. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by daughter, Katie Ann Mathis and brother, Brandon Lee Mathis. A memorial service is being planned. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
