She was born July 23, 1935 to Claude and Julia Belle Burton in Jasper, Georgia. Jean is survived by children, Cay and Gary Reece, Cathy and Tom Vandiver, Carol and Randy Smith, Charles Herbert Roland Jr., Chris Clancy; grandchildren, Adam Reece, Ben Reece, Dustan Mullins, Deidre Mullins Weaver, Devin Mullins Adams, Tyler Jordan, Tanner Jordan, Brittany Damon, Cameron Damon, Amy Klassen, Kristie Roland Winter, Wesley Roland, Charlie Roland, Lexi Roland, Chase Roland; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; cousin, Maxi Kelley; and other family members. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Claude and Julia Belle Burton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Johnnie Roland; and brother, Fred K. Burton. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, October 20, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
