Grizzle, age 78, of Jasper, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at her home. She was born February 14, 1943 to John and Minni Lou Johnson in Talking Rock. Jeanette is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Lawton Grizzle of Jasper, Tommy and Christine Grizzle of Jasper, Mickey and Martha Grizzle of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Sammy Collins of Talking Rock; sister and brother-in-law, Johnette and Larry Watson of Hinton; sister-in-law, Wendy Johnson of Decatur, Alabama; six grandchildren, Chris Collins, Heather Pulliam, Daniel Grizzle, Johnson Collins, Elizabeth Collins, James Collins; three great-grandchildren, Brantley Pulliam, A.J. Pulliam, and Easton Collins. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by son, Glen Grizzle; brother, Hugh Johnson; and grandson, David Collins. Funeral Services will be held 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Talking Rock First Baptist Church with Reverend Larry Kelley and Reverend Steve Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Darnell/Cagle Cemetery, Talking Rock, GA 30175. Pallbearers will be Chris Collins, Joey Jones, Jerry Farmer, A. J. Norton, Joe Najjar, and Mark Lowe. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, January 21, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The family request in lieu of flowers, make donations to Talking Rock First Baptist Church at PO Box 95; Talking Rock, Georgia 30175. The family also request that food not be brought to the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
