Jeff was born on November 4, 1955 in Pickens County to the late Frank and Lois Lillard. In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by his daughter, Jodi Lillard; late wife, Regina "Sis" Lillard; sisters, Maye Klein and Juanita Carter; brothers, Frank and Leon Lillard. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Benedict Lillard; sons, Jesse Lillard of Ranger, Josh Lillard (Viv) of Jasper, Joey Lillard (Amanda) of Ellijay, Jeremy Lillard of Ranger, Jeffery Lillard (Brea) of Jasper, Matt Benedict (Liz) of Crabapple, Ty Benedict (Teresa) of Powder Springs; daughter, Heather Kirby (Josh) of Carrollton; twelve grandchildren; siblings, Dee Cronan (Robert) and Herbert Lillard (Judy). Jeff worked for KM Davis 33 years as a superintendent and he thought of them as family. Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2024 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, August 9, 2024 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Food and flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Affinity Hospice in Jeff's memory. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
