Jerry is survived by his wife, Joette Blackerby of Jasper; children, Shannon and Andy Starkey of Evans, Tiffany Carter of Waleska, Cindy and Issac Mitchell of Evans, Amanda and Nicholas Hollis of Chesapeake VA, Lindsay and Zeb Scott of Sandersville, Georgia. He was known as "pop" to nine grandsons and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his son, Adam Blackerby. No service is scheduled at this time.
