She was born December 13, 1928 to George and Maude Caylor in Jasper, Georgia. Jewell is survived by her son, Danny Godfrey and Angie Parsons of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Karon and Michael Woodcock of Marietta; grandchildren, Michael and Heather Woodcock, Jr. of Orlando, Nichole and Andrew Mrasek of Roswell; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Phillip and Shirley Caylor, Jerry and Jody Caylor; sister, Gail Isbell; sisters-in-law, Betty Godfrey and Ruby Daugherty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Godfrey; her mother and father and several brothers sisters. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2024 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Preston Jones and Reverend Tony Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery at 1006 Pleasant Hill Road; Jasper, GA 30143. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The family asks in lieu of flowers, to please make donations to First Baptist Church of Jasper the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church or to Mt.
