He was born March 31, 1957 to Clifford "Crook" and Jeannette Howard in Tate, Georgia. Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Natasha Howard of Talking Rock; son, Justin Howard of Jasper; granddaughter, Lexie Howard of Talking Rock; grandson, Izayah Howard of Jasper; father, Clifford "Crook" Howard of Jasper; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene McBee of Jasper, Judy and Danny Buckner of Jasper, Janice and Mathew Blackwell of Marble Hill; brothers, Terry Howard, Timmy Howard, and Adam Howard. A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannette Howard and sister, Betty Smith. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2023 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Hightower officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Friday, July 21, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
