He was born May 25, 1932 to Lee and Nina Taylor in Thomaston, Georgia Jimmy is survived by his wife, Irene Carol Taylor of Ball Ground; daughters, Karen Honea of Marble Hill, Keri J. Johnson of Ball Ground; sons, Kris D. Taylor of Ball Ground, Keith Earl Taylor of Cumming, Karl B. Taylor of Ball Ground; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by sisters, Ela Mae Baugh, Joyce Abbott, Dorothy Adams, Cynthia Davis; and brother, Jerry Taylor. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 12:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery with Gordon D. McClure officiating. A funeral procession for Mr. Taylor will leave the funeral home at 11:20 am on Thursday, March 24 2022. Anyone who would like to go in the procession is asked to be at the funeral home to be lined up by 11:00 am. Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
